Types of rhinoplasty

Before Operation

• Avoid taking medicines, such as aspirin, ibuprofen combinations, anti-inflammatory, or

• Stop smoking for two weeks before the operation to ensure fast healing.
• Nicotine canconstrict blood vessels, reducing the amount of oxygen and blood needed for the healing process.
• Stop drinking alcohol or coffee for a week before the operation to avoid any risk of complications.
You should not eat or drink the night before the surgery.

After operation

• Do not eat or drink any kind of food that is extremely hot, such as tea, coffee and soup. Do not chew very hard food.
• Lie on a high pillow with your head above the heart level.
• If you need to get something from the ground, put your knee on the floor and take it without leaning forward.
• Do not lift heavily.v
• Avoid the hot and steam bath.
• Do not stay long in the shower.
• Avoid sunbathing.
• Do not use aspirin and other bleeding-enhancing drugs.
• Removing bumpers yourself may cause severe damage.
