About the operation
Breast reduction surgery is performed under general anesthesia, with adequate analgesia during and after surgery.
The operation is done by making a circular incision around the nipple. After the incision is made, the nipple is repositioned and the areola is reduced by excision of the skin around the periphery, if necessary.
